Help!!!

I have Windows Messenger version 4.7 running on XP SP1.
(Pentium 4)

After 10 minutes or so, It logs out (But I don't realise
until I try to change the status and I get a "Your Status
could not be changed at this time" message. Then it
comes back to the logon screen

Its not a problem with my Router as I had my housemate
start using Messenger 4.7 (for testing purposes) on his
XP sp1 (Also Pentium 4) machine, and he never has the
same problem. . (I have since been watching my status
from my housemate's machine, and it always times out
within 10 minutes)

What makes it bizarre is, MSN messenger 6.x doesn't
suffer this problem, but I prefer Windows messenger 4.7..

Can anyone help? Could it be a registry problem? I
have removed Messenger and reinstalled it, but this
problem persists

Regards

Grahame
