Webcam disconnects

Using MSN meesenger 6.1 and webcam.
I was using this feature fine with a friend.
My PC Windows XP Theirs is Win 98.
Both running MSN 6.1 worked fine.
All of a sudden it stopped working in ONE DIRECTION only. I think there was
a mnor update a few weeks ago when this was first noticed.
They can see me when I share my video - but just for a few seconds. Then
the Webcam portion of the conversation disconnects with the disconnect
message.
I can see theirs when they share their video - no problem.
Any thoughts?
