audio/video tuning wizard

installed 6.1 on all 3 computers, all XP, 2 desktops, 1
laptop. both desktops able to video conference within
minutes and no problems. laptop I can see myself fine
usning "tools"-"Web cam settings", however when i try to
start a conference or start web cam or an audio
conversation, I get the message "we are unable to run the
audio/video tuning wizard at this time". I have
uninstalled and reinstalled 6.1 (twice). I have turned
off all firewalls. the camera works fine with its
software and on Yahoo. did i miss a critical patch? do I
have something checked or unchecked somewhere? i have
searched for this tuning wizard on all computers and no
luck. HELP!
