This page does not mention the issue. I am aware of the Messenger issue for
unsolicited messages and have already taken the necessary steps to prevent
it. These messages are from my daughter's friends and not malicious, they
assume she is online and want a chat, but they still occur as popups even
though we have exited Windows Messenger and unticked every preference that I
can find. If we are connected to the internet, the messages keep popping up.
There must be a tickbox somewhere...
