I have Win XP and Windows Messenger 4.7. My daughter uses messenger but I do
not (but am cursed with sharing the same PC with a teenager). When she exits
it (ie. signs off and exits the messenger program), the messages keep
popping up. I have gone into preferences and unticked all the preferences
relating to the program running and alerts. I make sure that the messenger
icon is not in the taskbar and that it has been exited. I do not allow it to
connect automatically when windows starts or to run in the background.
But...the messages (something in your eyes makes me wanna loose myself sez
'hiya') just keep coming.
Have pity. Tell me what to do next.
Mick
