Can't log onto MSN Messenger - Please Help

I have exactly the same problem - Authentication works OK
but when getting directory information (the buddy list)
the server drops the connection (for specific users only
no matter from which computer). It seems that some user
records are messed up inside MS's databases. Does anyone
know what to do in this case? Any help is appreciated.
