I am having problems booting XP only from hybernation. Sometimes it
starts up as normal, but obviously there is a problem that needs fixing.
The computer runs as normal but only the first lettering appears with a
cursor on the screen. If I turn the computer off and on again it'll
start as normal from hybernation. I want to avoid switching the unit
completely off and on if I can.
Can somebody please help me with this?

When hibernate is working properly, it is supposed to power the system
down.
You emerge from hibernation by powering the system up.
Is there something wrong with that process?
When you have an issues, are you coming out of hibernation by power up
or some other way.
What does this mean:
"The computer runs as normal but only the first lettering appears with
a cursor on the screen"
mean?
