Re: Help, wrong key strokes

I've got exactly the same problem, XP would not start, I re-installed from
the Op system disc, but now the " and @ are the wrong way round.
I've followed this thread, but I don't have English(UK) as one of the
options in the default input language selection drop down box, so when I try
to an english UK keyboard the thing just beeps at me

Help

The Languages / Details... / Settings menu will list each
keyboard that has been installed on your computer. My computer
lists two keyboards (English - US and English - UK). The UK
keyboard, which is the default, appears in bold typeface.

If the list of installed services on your computer does not show
an English (United Kingdom) keyboard, you will need to click on
the Add option - and add the English (UK) keyboard. Save your
changes.

Having added the UK keyboard to the list of services, you can
remove the US keyboard (if you wish).

You need to change the settings in one more place.

Control Panel / Regional & Language Options.

Languages / Details ... / Settings

Change the default input language to English (United Kingdom) -
United Kingdom.

Click on Apply, followed by OK.
