Thanks for the help. I took care of it myself by running Register
Cleaner.
How does anyone get a problem taken care of with the problems that
arise between the answering people.
Also, I did not appreciate receiving a personal email message to my
inbox from: "The Real Truth MVP" <trt@xxxxxxxx
Hi "Virg",
Glad to hear your computer problem is solved.
There is no requirement that you use your real email address when posting to
usenet forums, and if you do, you should expect the amount of SPAM and other
unwanted email to increase. This is an UN-moderated Usenet newsgroup. It is
best to simply ignore OT (Off Topic) messages. Since your message header
indicates you are using Outlook Express 6.00.2900.3138, be advised that when
reading either a newsgroup message or email that you would rather not see,
simply press alt-M and S to activate the Block Sender option.
Also, all Usenet newsgroups are Plain Text forums, so in Outlook Express,
you need to click Tools> Options> Send(tab), and in the News Sending Format
area, click Plain Text. And click the Plain Text Settings button and be sure
"Uuencode" is selected. Some newsreaders don't display non-plain text
messages properly.
And the "3138" part of your OE version number indicates your computer is not
full patched at Windows Update. You need get the Service Pack 3 upgrade
ASAP. (The free installation support for SP3 ended in April 2009.) Without
the security patches in that SP, your system may be vulnerable everytime you
connect to the internet.
FWIW. (For What It's Worth.)

P.S. You should get a 2nd opinion before my or anyone's advice.
