During the tryout of different AV products I am being notified that
there are remnants of LavaSoft AdAware on my computer. Is anyone
aware of a special removal process or program to remove LavaSoft
AdAware products completely? They do have such for Norton or McAfee
products.

Hi, thanks for the offer of help.
I followed your link - Item 1 and 2, I did when initially uninstalling the
Lavasoft program.
Item 3 I just performed and all the "unwise.exe" entries were associated
with other programs which are used by my computer. There were 3 -
individually associated with Camtasia Studio 3, TekLink and Logitech. They
are all valid programs I use.
In My Computer I had previously deleted everything associated with
AdAware/LavaSoft.
A search for "unregaaw.exe was negative
There was no link to LavaSoft or AdAware in Start menu.
Unable to find evidence of LavaSoft or AdAware folder on Computer
The reference to "LavaSoft AdAware" only shows up during an install of
Spybot S & D, AVG and when installing Windows Live One Care. Unfortunately,
no path or Reg Key is referenced. It just warns me that the
install/re-install of the new program may be effected.
I am almost tempted to re-install the program to un-install it. Gotten from
a google of "unregaaw.exe". Again thanks for helping
.
