Ok I understand but just to make sure, you see this all started when i
deleted sp3 from windows. Is there anyway i can reinstall it while

I know little about SD cards. You should not update an operating system
with an unresolved problem. Yo can make the existing problem harder to
resolve.


Hi Gerry, I've been following this thread and keep getting question marks
about what exactly started the problem. It appears that after trying to
install SP3, instead of uninstalling, rather an attempt was made to "delete"
it, (whatever is meant by that term,) while in Safe Mode. It sounds like the
OS may be completely messed. We still don't know what version of XP, whether
Home, Pro, or what. There is also still the problem of the lost "setup CD",
making it hard to use Recovery Console, unless another CD can be found.
