I tried to open ie8 today, i get the hour glass for a few seconds but nothing opens.

I checked the event viewer and found this error:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7011
Date: 5/30/2009
Time: 8:31:34 AM
User: N/A
Computer: HOME-4194A87EB6
Description:
Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the N360 service.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I click on the help and support link and it opens but when I try one of the links for a solution nothing happens, I assume its trying to open ie8. When I restart the computer I get a window saying ccSvcHst is not responding and rundll32.exe is not responding. after I end thos all my applications load then the computer finishes the restart.

I can get ie8 to run in safe mode but when i restart it I have to end rundll.32

my system is windows xp sp3

thank you.
