Have you looked at your device manager to see if it is showing any
problems with either the mouse, keyboard and/ or your usb controllers.
The most logical next step is to get an inexpensive keyboard and mouse
that is not usb and try those. Do not get adapters and expect that
will do the trick. You need to try using devices with actual ps2
connections. (the green and purple.)
