Hi
My PC boots into XP Pro SP3 fine. I can click on the Start button
and
go into programs. However the problem I'm having is with my internet
connection. It takes approx 1-2 mins before I can connect to the
internet. I get a message in the right hand corner after a while,
telling me that my firewall is turned off and also I get the yellow
update icon telling me that Windows is downloading updates 0%. Once
this comes up it takes about 10-20 seconds before both disappear and
I
can then connect to the net.-

Cable? DSL? Dial-up?

Hi
Virgin (Cable) through a Belkin Wireless Router. I also have a home
plug attached and another upstairs that feeds a Xbox360.
Thanks
