That's all that's required but if your system is still infected the problem will return. There are two places that file is stored if you don't replace both of them the problem may return. My remove-it will replace both of them.

I decided I would not be able to handle The Real Truth, so I tried
simply copying beep.sys from another computer into my
Windows\System32\drivers folder. That fixed it. (Who would have
thought anything could be that easy to fix in Windows ?)
