i went to acer website for my aspire 4530 but only have download
drivers for
win vista. i couldnt find any xp drivers.

That is correct, Sally. Apparently, Acer does not support running XP on
this particular model. There are some people who have had success using
the drivers available on this page:

But keep in mind that you're on your own; no support and no warranty.

Perhaps you might want to load Vista back on it; that's what your
license is for.
