Thank You Mark.
I ran the Autoruns but did not find anything in reference to restarts. When
through the screen several times.
This pop up started quite awhile ago so I think backing out updates would
require a considerable amount of updates to be removed.
I guess I will just click the "NO" button each time the Comp is booted up.
Appreciate the support and Best Regards!

The above app may help you locate a start up, but there are many to choose
from that originate from Microsoft. You may have to try uninstalling all
your recent Updates from MS to see if one of them has done that.

Appreciate the support again Mark.
I checked out the RunOnce in the Current User section and that was okay.
I went ahead and just ran through the reg looking for software / Microsoft
/
windows / Current version / RunOnce and did not find anything else.
I am open for more suggestions on this!
Best Regards

Thanks for the reply Mark.
I looked into the setting with Reg Edit and there was a line
SMRequiresRestart REG_SZ I removed this and rebooted. The window
still
popped up with Restarting your computer is required. I also checked
RunOnceEx and there was nothing there.
Anymore suggestions?
Thank You

I would guess you will find it in the registry. Open regedit to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

After every reboot or start up, I get the prompt window that states
Restarting your computer is required". All software updates are
successful
but this command or flag is set somewhere.
It happened quite awhile ago after updates but the updates were
successful
and I can just cancel it and everything is fine until the next
reboot.
Can anyone tell me how to disable this prompt? I do not know where
it
resides.
Thank You
