Gerry the very first thing that I think caused some major space issues was
when I installed that Acronis program - not it itself But the "try and
descide" it took up about 1/2 my space. I coontacted them and got that part
off, but I dont think I ever got the space back. I took my computer into a
guy after that, but.... Maybe that is still an issue.

I have not replied earlier because when I skimmed your long post
yesterday I could not see an obvious cause of your problem. However,
looking again I can make a number of comments.
Event Source: Userenv reports - Is the Windows XP SP3 update installed
or are you still running SP2? This suggestion may help. Download and
install the User Profile Hive
Cleanup Service
Download details: User Profile Hive Cleanup Service

UPHClean v1.5e readme.txt

Event Source: MSSQL$MICROSOFTBCM reports -See Knowledge Base Article in
link that follows:
The MSSQL$MICROSOFTBCM service may log event warning 19011 in the event
log when you use Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2003 on Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828246
The InCD Helper service terminated unexpectedly. -How often has this
Error occured?
An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom0 during a paging
operation.

I would be interested in seeing a Disk Defragmenter report . Open Disk
Defragmenter and click on Analyse. Select View Report and click on Save
As and Save. Now find VolumeC.txt in your My Documents Folder and post a
copy. Do this before running Disk Defragmenter as it is more
informative.

Hope this helps.

Gerry,
I replied a couple days ago but I don't know if I actually replied or
just created another question. Since I had not heard from you thought
I should try this way.
Sorry to bother you.

How much RAM memory?
Try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to select Task Manager and click the Performance
Tab. Under Commit Charge what is the Total, the Limit and the Peak?
Are there any problems indicated in the System and Application logs?
Please post copies of all Error and Warning Reports appearing in the
System and Application logs in Event Viewer relating to the last
boot in normal mode . No Information Reports or Duplicates please.
Indicate which also appear in a previous boot.
You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer. When researching the meaning
of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description
are important.
A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and
double click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which
appears is a button resembling two pages. Click the button and close
Event Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the
body of the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting
from
Event Viewer.

I don't know anything about task manager -
My computer has started to run a bit slow AND got a message a couple
times about virtual memory low.
I know the inCD stuff has something to do with the Nero program or
at least with burning DVDs The task manager
shows it running a lot of stuff (page faults - I/O writes and
other) - more than other things even 10 times more
I/O other bytes (at 646,508,462 and going up as I type) than
explorer.exe (50 times more I/O write bytes 469,511)
Like I said I don't know what these numbers mean, but I am thinking
it may have something to do with speed, and possible the memory.
So my question is Can I click "end process" with out any ill
effects? (since I do not understand any of this - I don't know if
incd makes my windows run or my email or my office or or or...
Will it restart when I start my computer so I can burn DVDs if I
want?
I am afraid to ever turn anything off because my computer may not
start again -
Thanks,
