So, I was connecting to my desktop with my laptop (I was using the
windows RCP client) over my home wireless network, and I tried to access
the windows firewall settings (on my desktop). I got a message that
said that the ICS service was not running, would I like to start it. I
clicked yes, and then the computer said that the windows firewall ICS
service cannot start. I tried doing everything that all of the posts
have said, and when I go to the command prompt and type in "netsh
firewall reset" I now get a message that says that the helper dll file
A109A-K13-3ZXD-BAP5-TE cannot be found And then when I try to restart
the firewall, it gives me the same messages. I have tried reinstalling
service pack 2, I've installed service pack 3. Also, system restore
does not work. Short of reinstalling windows, does anybody have a
solution for me?
Thank You so much!
