How do you go about doing that, without the Microsoft Windows Product
If that doesn't describe what's on the computer in question, I would
not
spend time on it. From your description, it is already infected. You
should erase the hard disk and reinstall the software.
Key? If I start a re-install over top of what's there, won't I get
totally stuck again?
If I wanted to play with it, is there a guide to starting up a minimal
load? I know from 'troubleshooting windows stop messages'
(http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm) what is going on, but its not clear which
files control that.
Can I get a enough of a boot up to use either a usb flash drive with
anti-virus tool, or CD boot disk to do a virus scan of the hard drive?
thanks in advance, zip.
