I'm sorry that your post was highjacked and that no one came to your help. When you say that the error message happens when you "log-in" I assume that you mean when you start Windows and "Log on" to your user account. Obviously your problems are caused or seem to be caused by Adobe products, perhaps tech support from the Adobe site can help you. In the meantime what I would suggest is that you disable those Adobe options that are set to start when your computer boots up, you don't really need these things running, especially not if they cause errors and problems! Look in the Adobe program to see if you can disable autostart options. If you can't find a way to turn them off in the program then you can try disabling them with the Window built-in msconfig tool or you can use one of these tools to find the culprit:
AutoRuns for Windows
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
(Be careful with this tool, don't disable things that you are unsure of!)
CodeStuff Starter is also very handy and easy to use tool to find and disable unwanted startup items:

You should be able to find more help by doing targeted web search like these:
http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0geu9aRCt5I_pMAhWpXNyoA?p=%22adobe+updater%22%2Bdisable&y=Search&fr=sfp&ei=UTF-8

If you cannot solve the problem and need more help please start a new post and ask again, unfortunately your request for help was highjacked and now because of the nature of the posts generated by the highjacking many of the potential helpers will not even look at the posts under the subject heading. Hopefully if you start a new post with a different subject matter the highjackers will leave your post alone and you might get better help from those interested in helping people in need.

I've recently started getting an error message when I log in. The.
message says that
adobe online.com: Unable to locate component. The application has
failed to start because Thumbs .db was not found. Re-installing the
application may fix this problem.
A similar error message occurs due to adobe updater.com.
Event-Viewer shows source as "Application Popup" and EventId: 26.
I'd like to get this resolved - but need help in where to start.
What application is being referenced above ? I don't see applications
with the name adobe-online.com and adobe-updater.com on my computer.
(Uninstalling adobe and reinstalling it, did not seem to help).
Suggestions on where to start looking, as well as how I could resolve
this issue will be appreciated.
Thanks.
