Thank you thank you thank you... Wes. If I was a wealthy person I would
write you a check for alot of money.. I now have access to my folder options
however, it seems the Trojan or Trojans that invaded my pc have also wreaked
havoc with my graphics. I cant see images on wedpages now for example on
Yahoo main page the red Yahoo is just an empty square. Same goes for
thumbnails on the news section. I've tried anti virus software and tried
reloading drivers but nothing seems to work. Also I am practically unable to
play my games (Rome or C&C3) I tried writing you directly to the comcast
address but it was rejected.
Do you have any advice for my new problem... thanks again for your help.

Read the instructions at the top

[[To use the Regedits: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double
click it and answer yes to the import prompt.]]
If XP Pro you can use Group Policy...
Start | Run | Type: gpedit.msc | Click OK |
Navigate to>>

The Folder Options dialog box lets users set many properties of Windows
Explorer, such as Active Desktop, Web view, Offline Files, hidden system
files, and file types.
Also, see the "Enable Active Desktop" setting in User
Configuration\Administrative Templates\Desktop\Active Desktop and the

Description
Removes the Folder Options item from all Windows Explorer menus and from
Control Panel. As a result, users cannot use the Folder Options dialog
box.
This entry stores the setting of the Remove the Folder Options menu item
from the Tools menu Group Policy. Group Policy adds this entry to the
registry with a value of 1 when you enable the policy. If you disable the
policy or set it to Not configured, Group Policy deletes this entry from
the registry, and the system behaves as though the value is 0.
Value Meaning
-----------------------------------------------
0 (or not in the registry) The policy is disabled or not configured. The
Folder Options item appears.
1 The policy is enabled. The Folder
Options item is removed.
The Folder Options dialog box lets users set many properties of Windows
Explorer, such as Active Desktop, Web View, Offline Files, File Types,
and hidden system files.
Change method
To change the value of this entry, use Group Policy. This entry
corresponds to the Remove the Folder Options menu item from the Tools
menu Group Policy (User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows
Components\Windows Explorer).
