Considering it happen after SP3? I think not.

Has anyone else come across this issue? I reinstalled SP3 disabling all
programs (antivirus, firewall, etc) still have the issue. Also, it seems
to
only crash when looking at the files in Thumbnail view. Please help thank
you.


Considering that you have the problem even if SP3 was uninstalled,
it sounds like it is not related.
I'd run the mfg's herddrive diagnostic
and also a RAM test

Windows XP Home Edition (Now SP2)

If you uninstalled SP3 and you still have the issue - sounds like it was
unrelated to SP3.
