Re: Disk Defragmentor could not start

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Oooops, I meant to say disk space. Hell getting old. Can't believe I did
this.

How much free memory do you have? You must have enough memory to do

Free memory is irrelevant. What you need is enough free disk space.

We get this message when run normally, and in Safe Mode. We have done
the
System File Checker, and have searched using Yahoo without success.

We just removed the trojan that installs as a video codec, regained
control
of the machine, rans some updates, deleted temp files and were looking
for
a
defrag to finish.

Any suggestions are extremely appreciated. It is Windows XP Media
Center
SP2, and we have no recovery media. I'm hoping to avoid a recovery if
at
all possible.

Thanks in advance,

Dan
