You can replace a corrupt copy of system files, like jscript.dll, by opening a command prompt, and running:
sfc /scannow

IE7 has been intermittently shutting down ("encountered a problem and must
close. very sorry, etc.") The message is Faulting application iexplore.exe,
version 7.0.6000.16674, faulting module jscript.dll, version 5.7.0.5730,
fault address 0x0001d862.
Event ID 1000.
I've been looking around ms and java websites but can't really find a fix
for this specific problem. I've run spybot & avg, no viruses etc. Does
anybody have an idea what could be the problem? Thanks.
