Re: decryption of files and folders

I'm very sorry to tell you that your files are forever lost! This is a horror story that is often heard, you are not the first one to lose files to file encryption, anyone who uses file encryption and who fails to backup the recovery key is asking for trouble! I cringe when I hear the words "File Encryption", many, if not most, don't understand how critically important it is to backup the encryption key. What is even worse is that many of those who lose encrypted files had no real need to have the files encrypted in the first place! In one post that I once read the poster was imploring for a solution to the same problem, saying that all his kid's and family photos would be lost without a solution. A disaster that could have been completely avoided, are the kids that ugly that their photos needed to be encrypted?
