I don't have any other suggestions. Maybe someone else has other ideas.

Do you have TweakUi on your machine? If yes, you may have changed settings with it. If you don't have TweakUi removing the NoDrives Reg_Dword in the registry should allow you to see the hidden drives, find the rest of the information in these search results:
