Can we check the completeness of your original posting of the error
code? You can find C5 as the first parameter not as the Error code. An
example looks like this:
'' 0x0000007e(0xc0000005,0x00000000,0xf96b487c,0xf96b457c)
Also what narative appears on the line / lines below the above?
Can you read DVD's in the DVD drive?

Hope this helps.

Hi Renee,
I listed all burning sw on previous post. It fails with any of them
and the windows built-in burner.
I uninstalled all burning sw to no avail.
Thanks for your help!

internal dvd with different type and still fails.
Updated all dvd drivers to latest versions - still fails.
Same error using multiple burning software suites.
I don't do much burning, so it's impossible to tell what MS updates
or sw installed prior to encountering problem.
Are you burning using Windows built-in software, or some 3rd party
software? Some burning related errors can be avoided by switching to
a 3rd party program.
