Hi. I'm not exactly sure what I did, but here it goes: I was using Microsoft
Word(or Office) a long time ago and it wanted me to convert to the latest
version by typing in the product key.
Your lies begin. No version of Word forces you to update to a later
version. You maybe had a *trial* version that expired and you wanted to
illegally continue to use it after the trial period. Or you had an old
version along with a pirate copy of an upgrade (which looks to have been
a trial version) for a later version along with a stolen product key.
I couldn't find the product key at that
time, I got a free one online.
So you used a stolen or illegal product key to crack the trial version
or a stolen copy that you installed. No big surprise there.
I used the new one to convert it, it asked for
it again but I couldn't type it in because I forgot to write it down.
Go back to the warez site where you obtained the stolen or illegal
product key.
So, I
went and got ANOTHER one and used that. This time I wrote it down.
Yep, that's what you did: back to the warez site for another illegal
product key.
After a
month or so, it asked for it again. I typed in the one I wrote, but it
couldn't continue because it said it did not match the one I typed in
previously(the one I didn't write down).
So the trial re-expired and you tried the same illegal product key but
it didn't work. And you want us to help you reenable the pirateware.
So now I'm stuck. After another few
months, I did the same thing only to find out that I wasn't reading
carefully, it actually said my trial expired(I think). I didn't know I
installed a trial.
That's what you get for using pirateware.
Since it expired, I uninstalled it from my computer and
now I have nothing to write with besides the WordPad.
No, of course you wouldn't consider actually buying the software that
you have so far been capable of using illegally. So why not stop
stealing commercialware and go with openware, like OpenOffice. It can
probably handle all your old Word files as long as you didn't save
macros within them.
I guess my question is,
where can I find download a Mircosoft Word?
Yep, still trying to steal.
It's really convienient for
papers. Every computer is supposed to come with one, but I messed mine's up(I
think).
Yeah, sure they do. Every computer should include every copy of every
program that exists that you might possibly want to use but not pay for.
Uh huh, sure, a child speaketh. Go beg your parents to buy you a
legitimate copy. They might carry you a bit longer.
Yes, I was harsh. I don't pander to thieves, especially when there are
free solutions that the thief had no initiative to bother to
investigate. What the thief stole was working, what the thief stole he
has learned, and now the thief wants to continue using those stolen
goods.
