I have a user whose XP box will not boot. It reaches the XP
splash screen, and reboots automatically. I've tried each Safe
Mode option, to no avail.
I have tried booting from the CD, and after it loads the
necessary drivers,
it will eventually just stop, and sit indefinitely. I've never
been able to get to the point where I can access the recovery
console.
Help?
Try booting from a free Live Linux CD such as Knoppix.
