Hi, i just bought a netgear wireless card PCI for my dell desktop. There
are 3 pci slots, one occupied with realtak ethernet card which is
working. I used both the empty vacant pci slots for the Netgear
wireless card but the harsware was not detected by window. So, i took
out the realtak ethernet pci and put the netgear there the hardware
detected wizzard didnt show netgear but instead it showed realtak
ethernet even though the card was not in the slot. I dont know whats
wrong, please help me.

Did you install the drivers before adding the card? Remove the card,
install the drivers, then insert the card. Of course you will shut down
and power off between each step.
Also, you must be installing with an administrator-level account.
It's always possible that the card is damaged or defective; you should also
consult with Netgear support.
