After XP SP3 Several DLL Files Will Not Register

Since updating to XP Pro, SP3, there are several dll files that will not
register including ntdll.dll user32.dll kernel32.dll and others

When I attempt to register them I get the followiing error message :
XXX.dll was loaded, but the DLLRegisterServer entry point was not found

Any suggestion on what's causing this to happen and how to fix?

Thanks
