I remember reading a while ago about XP's Service Pack 3 removing the
address bar from the taskbar. I just installed SP3 here and indeed the
address bar is gone.

Two questions: can someone tell me WHY it was removed, and is there any
way
of getting it back - short of rolling back tp SP2?

Tom

There is already a non-Microsoft utility to place the back.
