You should go to the site for the maker of your system or system Motherboard. They may have a copy of the BIOS you can download and 'flash' from a boot to your Floppy drive

HELP.
I had no idea that my cd drive was not working and I attempt to load a new
program. (That’s went I discovered this problem.) I ran System Restore and
that’s when my night mare started. When the computer restarted an error in
windows explorer happened. And needed to quit.
Now when I restart the computer, it goes through the boot process, it gets
me to the which user, and seams to be working fine until this point, when all
I have is a blue sky and clouds and that is it.
I restarted and held down the f8 and had it do a test and everything came
back fine but the cd.
This test said that I should reset the bios. I attempted to do this and was
told there were no bios???
I tried restarting in safe mode and it froze in mid stream…
I do have an external floppy dive that I could connect, and it also said
something about restarting thou a LAN??
Where do I go from here?
