I had to put in a new mother board in a Dell computer with Windows XP Media
Center installed.
When I booted the computer Windows start fail with a blue screen. After much
research I decided to do a repair install. But when the computer restarted
after the file copy segment the same error came up and Windows would not go
into the rest of setup.
So I loaded Windows as a side by side install. That went very well. But now I
cannot get into the old My Documents folder to move the files and pictures to
the new My Documents folder. I tried to reset the properties on the folder but
they will not reset (Access Denied).
Any One know how to get around this?
Thanks Loretta
You need to disable Simple File Sharing and take ownership of the files. Take a
