Re: Constant memory usage during shut down.

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

There's a better way to post Event Viewer Error reports!

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

Is this the Brew you are referring to?

How much RAM memory does your computer have?

Try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to select Task Manager and click the Performance
Tab. Under Commit Charge what is the Total, the Limit and the Peak?

You should be able to gather more information from Task Manager. With
the Processes tab open select View, Select, Columns and check the boxes
before Peak Memory Usage and Virtual Memory size. What are the figures
for the 6 processes using the largest amounts?

Hope this helps.

While shutting down program not responding cause of memory usage. I
look at the event log and find 3 errorsand warnings.
1)Dhcp not able to renew address network address.
2)Attempt to power off Brew failed.
3)Service Control Manager system - start drivers failed to load
Cdr_xp.
What is going on? I tried to go step by step according to discussion
group problem solutions. While doing so deleting cookies, history and
such, deleting history computor ran for many hours, after which I
tried overnight still running this morning.
Does this system need to be reinstalled?
