What does Device Manager show?

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties,
Hardware,Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?

Hope this helps.

I'm having problems with a gateway GT5228 (2yrs old no warranty) -
all the usb ports that were originally connected to the main drive
fried several months ago - have no clue how/why - had to do a
'recovery' and buy a new usb card - all seemed fine - that was 2
months ago - now - all of the sudden when I plug in a usb device
(camera/ect) the computer bings like it recognizes it and then hangs
- I have to then manually shut down as it's frozen.

any ideas?
