I recently updated to service pack 3,
No, you didn't. SP3 isn't available yet, and what you installed was a
pre-release test version of SP3.
now every time I reboot or start up the
computer I get an error message that windows performed an invalid exception
no disk. also while downloading music from the net I get failed download
messages that the security storage for media player 11 is not working, I have
tried the re install of the security certificate or patch but sill get this
error. can someone tell me what I need to do to resolve these problems or do
I need to drop back to sp2?.
No surprise in any of the above. When you install a pre-release test
version of software, problems are what you should *expect*. If
Microsoft didn't expect it to have problems, it would be a released
version, not a pre-release version.
