Active Shield is probably related to the anti spyware app of that name

Often I will get two separate notifications while trying to boot-up. The
first is that I need to load or install "Active Shield". I don't know
what
it is, or where to get it.
The second shows error "EAccessViolation". I don't know what that is or
how
to fix it.
