Windows and 1 gig memory
I have two PCs and both are dual boot with 98 and XP. Both motherboards
support up two two 1 gig sticks of memory. When I tried to use one
niether would boot up in 98, With 1.5 gig of memory it says there is
insufficient memory to start windows. The memory is compatible with the
boards according to the web sites. Even XP, which did boot up, was
noticably slower with 1.5 gig of memory than with 768 meg. Why would
this be?
