Re: Unable to install accessories

It's possible you can find a hidden partition with an i386 folder on it, or maybe even not hidden. you could point the 'source path' to this folder.

Your "Installation Path" can be reset. HKLM\Software\Microsoft\...
..Windows\Current Version\Setup:
Service Source Path
..Windows\Current Version\Setup:
Source Path .WindowsNT\Current Version - Source Path

With Pro edition:
run GPEDIT.MSC
Local Comp. Policy/Comp. Config/Admin. Templates/System "Specify Windows Installation file location"

Thanks, Mark. I didn't get too far with this process--the bar moved about 3
mm! The message I got was that "files that are required for Windows to run
properly must be copied to the DLL cache; please insert Windows XP Prof. SP2
CD"

You can probably run the command :
SFC /SCANNOW

If it asks for a disk, hit retry a many times to see if the progress bar
advances anyway.
