drop back to XP, the news is good. I built my Athlon 2.6 with 1 G of RAM
last year specifically for Vista, and bought a 256 Meg video card to take
full advantage of Aero. There's a lot I really like about Vista, but
that's just my personal preference. However I had to go back to XP for

older piece of software I need to use. Well, oh boy does XP fly on this
machine! Well, it would given the specs. So IF you do have hardware
spec'ed with Vista in mind, XP will fly like never before on it.
Might be worth considering.

just that! I've heard that one can upgrade but cannot go back. True?
