I working on a friends Dell Media Edition computer.
I have fixed most of her problems (user induced) but have one interesting
issue.
Between the Windows logo screen (the one with the cyclic dots going
across) and the Welcome screen, a photo briefly appears.
This photo comes up even with wallpaper set to "none" and screen saver set
to "none".
I traced the photo to one that is in her "My Pictures" folder.
Is there a way to disable this brief photo display?
She does use a wallpaper program to randomly display her photos as
wallpaper.
But even when I disable that program from starting, that one photo still
appears between the two Windows Screens.
PS She wants to keep the Wallpaper program and the startup photo is not a
big deal. Just bugs Me.
Thanks in Advance.
