Re: add or remove programs icon disappeared

If you see an icon in the taskbar for the app, it's just moved off screen.

Click it to put the focus in the app, then Alt-space, M, up arrow, and click the mouse to call it back onscreen

I guess I don't follow you. I went to start/run, and typed the appwiz.cpl and
clicked OK and it didn't do anything. I tried a search on my C drive and
found the file in the system32 folder. What else can I do???
