Re: Problems accessing site

I really appreciate it.

Ok, so I went to that website you provided to check and see what's causing
my IE to not work and the result was it seems to be fine. Except that I just
can't seem to go to these two websites .. "www.ebay.com" and
"www.amazon.com". I even checked the allow sites as well.


Anymore ideas?

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy,

Why is this happening? I don't seem to be having any problems with my
connection or whatsoever, and I don't have a virus in system. I have Windows
Defender and AVG only running in pc.

So it's really hard for me to figure out what seems to be doing it.




I have WinXP Home Edition Service Pack 2.




Any smart people out there who can help? I would really appreciate it. I've
been having this problem for 3 weeks now, I contacted Comcast about it but
they were no help. So yea. :)

This link will troubleshoot IE; it's interactive and looks at the
current settings.

In Internet Options, Content tab, if Content Advisor is turned on, click
the Settings button, "Approved Sites" tab, and make sure the sites
aren't listed with a red icon. If they're listed, click to highlight,
click Remove.

In Internet Options, Privacy tab, click the "Sites" button and look for
the sites mentioned. If any are there, remove or set to "Allow".
