Re: multi boot

When you boot to an XP setup CD, it says "Press ENTER for setup, or "R" for repair. Press R. This gives you a prompt that allows you to run commands that will easily re-establish your mulitboot system. First run:

Fixboot

then run

bootcfg /rebuild

HOW TO Edit the Boot.ini File in Windows XP: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q289022
Restart and you will see the 'choice menu' for windows systems installed. In XP, going to start/run allows you to type:

msconfig

This has a 'boot.ini' tab that lets you choose default system and timeout.
