nvram.sys is part of your graphics drivers.
You / your friend did install the drivers supplied with your vid. card & not
rely on win default drivers or use winupdate drivers?

I had a friend install some new RAM and a new a video card into my
computer.
And ever since, my computer has been crashing and going to the blue screen
