Then I would look at the device used to wirelessly connect, for a power
setting like that.

Mark, I forgot to mention that the pc's connect to the the server through
a
wireless router. I had the same problem this morning on the problem pc.
I'm
getting the cannot connect, access denied message. I deleted the printer,
restarted the pc added the printer back and it works fine now, but
tomorrow
morning I'll go through the same process again.

On the problem XP machine, in device manager, Properties of the Ethernet
card that connects to the server, Power management tab, uncheck the
option
to allow power down.

We are running Windows 2003 Server and in one office and have 3 PC's
that
are
running XP PRO. Two of the PC's have no problem connecting to the
printer
connected to the server. The other PC gets kicked out over night and
can
not
access the printer the next morning. If I delete the printer and
restart
the
PC I can then add the printer from the server and it works again until
the
next day. This is a frustrating problem, any suggestions??

Thanks, Chris
