Re: After a power failer, windows does not boot up!

Hi Mark,

I am downloading the Zip file from my labtop and then I will burn the file
onto a cd.
Should I then insert the CD into my desktop and run the CD?

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your reply. I bought my computer from a friend and
unfortunately he did not supply me with a XP setup CD.

What can I do do?

Boot to the XP setup CD, or any other way possible for your system to
start
the Recovery Console.
From the prompt:
CHKDSK /R
