My boss is trying to send me an attachment from created in the newest
version
of word, I have Microsoft Office 2003. He is sending it correctly,
however, I
do not receive the attachment or the email. Is there a problem being that
I
have the older version?
No. You should at least get the email. Something is very wrong there if you
are not even getting the email. That needs to be sorted out first. Try
sending your boss an email and getting him (her?) to reply to it.
When you do get the email with attachment however, you will need to download
and install the Compatibility pack to enable you to open the attachment if
your boss has sent it in the default 2007 format....
get it here:
